Now - not later - is the time to elect leaders who will fight climate change, but it’ll take local action to get it done. Christine Clarke is receiving Climate Cabinet’s endorsement because she will work to pass pro-climate policy on Day One when she takes office. Christine has a plan to create a better future for New Jersey. Our country needs more state and local champions like Christine, because it’s past time politicians set aside the special interests and passed climate policy that will create clean energy jobs and reduce pollution rates across the country. Christine Clarke is the kind of climate champion who will get the job done.
- Caroline Spears, Executive Director, Climate Cabinet
#VOTEPROCHOICE is proud to endorse Christine Clarke for the New Jersey State Senate. As we approach nearly a year without the federal protections of Roe, it's more vital than ever that we elect prochoice champions at the state and local level. And states like New Jersey, where abortion has remained legal, have become critical access points for people across the country who are forced to travel for care. The ability of every person to decide if, when, and how to start and raise their family is a fundamental human right, and we know that Christine is committed to defending and expanding reproductive freedom in New Jersey—we're proud to stand behind her.

Christine Clarke will be a leader who believes workplace safety standards should be extended to all schools and their personnel. She understands these standards should be permanent, not implemented just for the pandemic. As we rebuild our crumbling infrastructure, Clarke is advocating it is done by investing in a clean-energy economy, which means good-paying union jobs with prevailing wage agreements. AFTNJ supports candidates who not only support our values but are strong leaders who put that support into action. It is because of her integrity, commitment and determination that AFTNJ has endorsed her for Senate in New Jersey’s 25th district.
