Christine Clarke is an environmental advocate, a grassroots organizer and a mother-of-four running to build the clean energy economy, protect healthcare privacy, access and autonomy, fight for clean air and water, and lead with empathy and fiscal sense.  She wants our essential rights to remain ours. A History of Advocating for Change

Clarke is a member of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, a Climate Reality Leader, a steering committee member of the Jersey Renews coalition, and has been a past member of the NJ NAACP Environment and Climate Justice team via Morristown Local 2092. She was on the 2018 steering committees for the NJ March for Science and the NJ People's Climate Movement. She is the former Environmental Director at Action Together New Jersey, and was an early organizer with NJ 11th For Change. She served two terms as the elected municipal chair of the Jefferson Township Democratic Committee, which she still serves as an officer, and is the organizer of her town’s annual bipartisan Pride event which is approaching its sixth year. Since her 2023 run, she’s been a winning campaign manager and a mentor to new candidates, including serving as a guest speaker with the Emerge NJ training program and the Everytown for Gun Safety ‘Demand a Seat’ training program. She has lived in Jefferson for 19 years with her four children.
